I'm now able to calm myself by following the abdominal breathing and it lets me drift off to sleep without much tossing and turning as I normally did. I find myself practicing the exhale method when I'm walking, driving, watching TV and working; it gives me a sort of calming feeling.

I've taken many different classes regarding fitness, including yoga and pilates, but there was always a controversy regarding the method of breathing. The Exhale! Program takes away the controversy and mystery of breathing and provides me with a practical method and means to immediately improve my health and well being.
I lost a notch on my belt after the first couple weeks of classes. Its definitely all that Kapalabhati thats toning my abs. I'm close to losing another notch on my belt. This is just doing the exhale exercises!
Also during periods of stress, I think, "do the Darth Vader breath thing", and it definitely helps relieve the tension and anxiety.

The class has made me more aware of breathing in general and situational (i.e. stress related) breathing in particular. I can calm myself down when getting stressed, simply by remembering the deep breathing lessons.
I had been particularly prone to "road rage" and used to find myself getting angry and yelling at other drivers every day. Lately, I've not been bothered by them, and if I do react, it certainly isn't at the same intensity or length of time. I'm thinking I can also attribute this (positive) change in attitude to the breathing class.

I was in need of a stress management workshop for a Leadership Development Program, and contacted Fabienne Rodet regarding her workshop that teaches yogic breathing techniques for stress reduction. Fabienne not only teaches the techniques, but also the science and physiology behind why they work. I pitched this to my client, and they hired her to do the workshop.
My clients audience: 85% white males, mostly in their 40's. This is a wood products company, and most of the participants are foresters, production managers, and engineers. Most of them are from the South and North East, and are hunters and outdoorsmen.
They got nervous when they walked in and saw that all the tables were pushed back and the chairs were in a circle. I got nervous when Fabienne started chanting her instructions to them: Breath in, Om one, om two, om three
Well, what happened seemed like nothing less than a miracle to me. Half the class came up and shook her hand and thanked her after the session. Three or four asked if she had CDs for sale, and they want me to bring her back to future sessions.
The proof was in the pudding. They felt great after the session and had a direct experience of this airy fairy stuff having a concrete impact on their physical state. It was a breakthrough for Fabienne in terms of knowing that she can teach this workshop outside of California, and a breakthrough for me in terms of taking risks and bringing more alternative approaches into my work. I highly recommend her workshop!
